BBC Wales’ current affairs programme Week In Week Out is researching a TV documentary on Personal Independence Payments (PIPs), after they heard that a lot of people are having problems with this benefit as it continues to be rolled out.

They need to feature people who have experience of PIPs – with all manner of problems including; people losing the mobility element of the payment, and hence their transport; incorrect information being recorded by assessors; and many who lost their PIPs but later won their appeal.

They need people whose lives have been impacted by PIPs – perhaps by losing their payment; or losing their vehicle; or they’re involved in the appeal process… either going through it now, or having successfully gone through it.

They also need, of course, to be prepared to tell their story on TV.
