Public services in Merhyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf are assessing community wellbeing and/or need for care and support in order to produce a plan for improvement.

The plan must be based on what has been learned through the assessment.

Have your say Understanding our communities survey

Consultation end date 23 September 2016

The Well-being of Future Generations (WBFG) Act and the Social Services and Wellbeing (SSWB) Act place responsibilities on public bodies and introduce the concept of ‘wellbeing’ as a cornerstone of policy and service delivery. Both Acts require partners to collect citizen feedback for an assessment of wellbeing (in the case of the WBFG Act) and of service user/carer needs (the SSWB Act).

The Cwm Taf Hub aims to provide people who work, live or provide services across Merthyr Tydfil and RCT with the chance to have their say about local services, while providing them with information on local engagement events and other areas of interest.
