Do you use a council leisure service? e.g. a sports field or swimming pool?

The Wales Audit Office wants to hear about your experience of these leisure services and about any changes made by the council in recent years.

They are also keen to hear from people who go to private leisure centres and to find out why you have chosen not to use council facilities.

The survey will take you between 5 and 10 minutes, and it will help them to identify specific issues that need to be investigated. These will be summarised and used in the national report that covers all leisure services in Wales.

Take part in  the survey

Background:

The survey is focusing on leisure centres, swimming pools and sports pitches, as well as council operated facilities on school sites. It’s not on activities related to tourism, library services, parks/open spaces, museums/heritage or the arts.

Services are changing. In these times of austerity everyone is being asked to do more with less and that has an effect on the way that every part of our public services operate. The WAO are running a number of reports entitled ‘Delivering with less’ which will review how different services are managing these cuts.

They are aiming to publish the report next summer and you’ll be able to find it on the Wales Audit Office website.
