From Tymes Trust:

Tyme Trust discovered over the parliamentary recess that NICE had listed the CFS/ME Guideline under mental health.

We immediately alerted Patron the Countess of Mar, of whose Forward-ME  group we are a member.

NICE’s listing could already have had profound effects on the views of GPs and Paediatricians as to the nature of ME, contrary to the World Health Organisation’s classification.

We are pleased that, after the Countess contacted NICE, the CFS/ME Guideline was removed from mental health. It is under neurological  conditions. This now agrees with the WHO classification ICD10 G93.3.

NICE admits CFS/ME guideline does not meet the need
