The Wales Audit Office is seeking the views of people aged 55 and over on the services that support people to remain independent, such as information and advice, social activities and leisure services.

Their national survey wants to find out how Local Authorities in Wales are managing to provide key services like these with reduced budgets. Part of their work looking at the impact of austerity on key services, the Wales Audit Office is keen to hear from the people of Wales and get their opinion on how services are performing and how aware they are of the changes being made to services as a result of financial pressure.

The Wales Audit Office has produced a short survey to support this work and is encouraging anyone who has used a service, either provided directly by their local council or indirectly paid for through council funds, to take part. The information gathered will form part of a key report that will be published in summer 2015.

Take part in the survey online, or contact the  Wales Audit Office on 029 2032 0500 to find out more about how you can take part.
