“Using Gene Expression to Objectively Subset & Diagnose FM, CFS and Depression” Published on Dec 18, 2014
Alan Light, PhD gave this presentation during OFFER’s 2014 Healthcare Provider Conference.
In this study, they looked at 46 genes [using the leukocytes] to show the differences between controls and ME/CFS and FM. They looked at
1 -signalling of fatigue and pain from muscles,
2 -sympathetic control of blood flow in the muscles,
3 -mitochondrial function,
4 -hypothalmic pituitary function,
5 -immune function compared to controls.
This is 33mins. long with a lot of graphs, and very detailed.
