Volunteers week 1 June – Invitation to WAMES AGM & ‘Shaping our future’ event, Saturday 25 June 2016

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the amazing contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. This year it is taking place from 1st June.

WAMES would like to say a BIG thank you to all who have contributed to the work of WAMES over the years. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and without you, we would be unable to function.

There is a lot more work to do, so WAMES invites you to the AGM and Shaping our future event on Saturday 25th June in Dinas Powys to:

  • Find out more about the work of WAMES
  • Meet the WAMES team and other volunteers
  • Give us your input on what needs to be done in Wales and how WAMES can achieve it
  • Find out about the myriad ways, small and not so small, that everyone can help WAMES and the ME cause in Wales
  • Chat over a light lunch

Location: St Peter’s church hall, Mill Road, Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan CF64 4BT  There is a car park and access for wheelchairs.

Date & time: Saturday 25th June 2016, 11-3pm

Book your place: Please let Kishli know if you wish, or hope, to attend, so we can plan numbers for lunch. We understand that the fluctuating nature of ME may mean you have to cancel or are unable to stay for the whole session, but we ask that you let us know your plans as soon as you know. secretary@wames.org.uk 029 2221 3311 (leave a message on the answer machine and Kishli will call you back).
