Eleanor Dent, from South Wales, has been placed 6th place in an international poetry competition with her poem Music soars aloft, which describes memories of a past life playing the flute.
MEAction launched the competition in April to honour those around the world struggling with ME. This call to poets was designed to complement other awareness projects taking place during May.
2016 theme: #MillionsMissing
The tagline references the fact that millions of people are missing from their careers, schools, social lives and families across the globe due to the debilitating symptoms of the disease.
