Are you a carer?<\/h2>\n

\"\"If you look after a partner, family member or friend who is ill or needs support, then you are a carer and have legal rights. You may not think of yourself as a carer, but\u00a0see what you do\u00a0as part of your role as a partner, husband, wife, son, daughter or friend. You may not see the need to be labelled as a \u2018carer\u2019, but this role can present challenges and pressures that few are prepared for. Accepting that you are a carer can be the first step to getting support, should you need it.<\/p>\n
