Most of them slammed the study for its many, many unacceptable flaws. Not surprisingly, Sir Simon Wessely\u2019s lackeys at the Science Media Centre immediately posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencemediacentre.org\/expert-reaction-to-journal-of-health-psychologys-special-issue-on-the-pace-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">three comments from \u201cexperts<\/a>\u201d lauding the trial and criticizing the JHP commentaries. I thought it might be helpful to deconstruct these rather pathetic efforts at defending the indefensible.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve posted all three statements below, followed by my comments.
