So far, the etiology is not known, and neither a diagnostic marker nor licensed treatments are available yet.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EUROMENE <\/a>network of European researchers and clinicians aims to promote cooperation and advance research on ME\/CFS.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13919 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/EUROMENE.gif?resize=638%2C816\" alt=\"\" width=\"638\" height=\"816\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 638px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 638\/816;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To improve diagnosis and facilitate the analysis of clinical trials surrogate markers are urgently needed.
