--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 200\/252;\" \/>Funded by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/about_cost\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COST<\/a> &#8211; a European framework\u00a0supporting trans-national cooperation among researchers, engineers and scholars across Europe &#8211; EUROMENE aims to\u00a0create an integrated network of researchers on ME\/CFS in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The network will promote multidisciplinarity in ME\/CFS research and foster a full chain of translational research to further\u00a0develop much-needed treatment and prevention strategies for improvement of patients\u2019 quality of\u00a0life.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0to develop strategies to collect population-based data on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/30181183\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the prevalence of ME\/CFS<\/a>\u00a0in Europe<\/li>\n<li>to promote co-operation and involvement of research groups<\/li>\n<li>to define a standardized clinical diagnosis for ME\/CFS for clinicians and researchers<\/li>\n<li>to coordinate efforts to determine the social impact of ME\/CFS and to appraise the economic damage from the disease.<\/li>\n<li>to establish communication links with industrial organisations<\/li>\n<li>to develop strategies to collect population-based data on the prevalence of ME\/CFS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CA COST Action CA15111\u00a0<\/a>Grant period from 1st May 2018 &#8211;
