These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>diagnosis<\/li>\n<li>current management plan<\/li>\n<li>the role of the GP<\/li>\n<li>support services accessed<\/li>\n<li>where things could be improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Phone calls will be audio recorded and last no longer than 2 hours, though participants may request to complete in more than one session and can withdraw at any time without giving a reason.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #f01d1d;\">Full project title<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Understanding the role of the General Practitioner in caring for patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis\/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #f01d1d;\">Aims of the project:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>identify factors that patients view as important to their management in primary care<\/li>\n<li>look at the current training and support for GPs regarding ME\/CFS<\/li>\n<li>evaluate how this requires improvement<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0make suggestions for future changes or adaptations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #f01d1d;\"><strong>Confidentiality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>All recordings will be kept for the six week duration of the research study before being destroyed. All information taken from the interviews will be anonymised including names of healthcare professionals mentioned in your interviews.
