On having ME – Myalgic Encephalomyelitis<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Going from being active, well, independent and having a future with good prospects.
\nThen suddenly not being able to get out of bed when hit with glandular fever.<\/p>\n

Left with numerous health issues dependant upon others to look after you.
\n\"\"Not knowing what has happened to you.<\/p>\n

Stuck inside when the world outside carries on.
\nA new type of future where you are left behind.<\/p>\n

Your future path that was in front of you is gone, fading further into the distance as time goes by.<\/p>\n

Now a new path, different and limited.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a new appreciation for little things.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lockdown with covid-19<\/strong><\/h3>\n

where everyone is paused together feels very different.<\/p>\n

As time has passed since I was first isolated due to ill health, online socialising has vastly improved.<\/p>\n

People are able to stay connected easily. When you are thousands of miles apart or a street apart,<\/p>\n

being at home doesn’t mean feeling alone anymore.<\/strong><\/p>\n
