{"id":2859,"date":"2014-03-03T03:11:26","date_gmt":"2014-03-03T03:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/?p=2859"},"modified":"2014-03-03T04:42:48","modified_gmt":"2014-03-03T04:42:48","slug":"could-you-be-the-wames-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/could-you-be-the-wames-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"Could you be the WAMES secretary?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The WAMES secretary\u2019s post will become vacant at the April AGM.<\/p>\n<p>This post is critical for the smooth running of WAMES, an organisation which works to improve services and provide a better quality of life for people with ME in Wales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong> <strong>would include<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>attending an annual AGM in south Wales<\/li>\n<li>compiling and distributing minutes and agendas<\/li>\n<li>organising e-meetings<\/li>\n<li>producing documents<\/li>\n<li>monitoring policies<\/li>\n<li>correspondence<\/li>\n<li>general administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The secretary would also be a trustee who shares responsibility with the rest of the committee for overseeing WAMES\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person specification:<\/strong> We are looking for someone who is organised, computer literate and able to work from home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Support:<\/strong> We can provide support, expenses and training as neces-sary.<\/p>\n<p>The post is open to anyone living in Wales but would be ideal for someone who has a long term plan of returning to work and needs experi-ence, or who wishes a career in the 3rd sector .<\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information:<\/strong> contact <a title=\"Could you be the WAMES secretary?\" href=\"mailto:\/\/enquiries@wames.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Jan<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The WAMES secretary\u2019s post will become vacant at the April AGM.
