The answer given to this question is based on Pierre Bourdieu&#8217;s analyzes of symbolic violence.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-34353 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Symbolic-violence.jpg?resize=400%2C228&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"228\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 400px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 400\/228;\" \/>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;letters to the editor&#8217; by CFS patients to three national Spanish newspapers were subjected to various qualitative and quantitative analyzes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on the qualitative analyzes and their theoretical interpretation,\u00a013 mechanisms of symbolic violence were identified: non-recognition, institutionalized un-care, condescension, authorized imposition of illegitimate verdicts, delegitimization, disintegration, imposition of discourse, euphemization, silencing, invisibilization, isolation, uncommunication, and self-blaming.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple Correspondence Analysis made it possible to identify that the structural mechanisms (non-recognition,\u00a0disintegration) were combined with the most symbolic ones, which came to the forefront producing the observed effects of symbolic violence.
