This Road: (I have walked this road before\u2026..)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Somewhere faintly whispering in the shadows of my mind<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through an erstwhile firmly shuttered door<\/strong><\/p>\n

A distant thought \u2013 a memory I\u2019d hoped I\u2019d never find<\/strong><\/p>\n

I remember: I have walked this road before.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have felt this empty chasm, strange detachment from the world<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have lived with this confusion and despair;<\/strong><\/p>\n

The routine and the rhythm once more have been unfurled<\/strong><\/p>\n

My coping strategies no longer there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The future so uncertain, so many things unknown<\/strong><\/p>\n

One more time my mind and body cast adrift:<\/strong><\/p>\n

No words can ever tell you how exhausted I have grown,<\/strong><\/p>\n

How can I once again my spirits lift?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My mind confused and foggy; my body tired and weak;<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Please not again,\u2019 I hear myself implore:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A monumental effort needed to avoid a future bleak:<\/strong><\/p>\n
