Hon. Sajid Javid).<\/p>\n<p>Three working groups were established in June 2022 to support the development of the plan by focusing on three themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research<\/li>\n<li>Attitudes &amp; Education<\/li>\n<li>Living with ME\/CFS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through these groups, Department of Health and Social Care officials engaged with a range of stakeholders, including people with lived experience, charities, professional bodies and representatives from specialist services, to consider available evidence and to develop policy proposals and content.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Consultation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Interim Delivery Plan has now been published, alongside a focussed 8-week consultation.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-40493 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/my-full-reality.jpg?resize=297%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"297\" height=\"300\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/my-full-reality.jpg?resize=297%2C300&amp;ssl=1 297w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/my-full-reality.jpg?resize=148%2C150&amp;ssl=1 148w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wames.org.uk\/cms-english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/my-full-reality.jpg?w=567&amp;ssl=1 567w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 297px) 100vw, 297px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 297px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 297\/300;\" \/>The Department of Health and Social Care invites views from people with lived experience of ME\/CFS, and their families and carers, as well as the wider public, health, education and care professionals, researchers and organisations representing those living with ME\/CFS.<\/p>\n<p>They want to know how far it addresses the issues most important to you and help them to identify where they need to go further.<\/p>\n<p>They aim to publish the Final ME\/CFS Delivery Plan for England before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Live outside England?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Responses from people who live or work in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland will be forwarded to the relevant devolved governments to inform their future policy developments in this area.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;The Welsh Government&#8230; are keen to review the views of their residents on the interim delivery plan so that they can consider the implications for local policy.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>Find out more<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/government-announces-new-plan-to-help-those-impacted-by-mecfs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Government announces new plan to help those impacted by ME\/CFS<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Interim delivery plan outlines 21 actions to improve understanding, research and care for those living with ME\/CFS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/consultations\/improving-the-experiences-of-people-with-mecfs-interim-delivery-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> My full reality: the Interim Delivery Plan on ME\/CFS, and survey\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The survey will take between 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
