Contributions from clinicians and\u00a0academics as well as from those who have personal knowledge of CFS\/ME<br \/>\nhighlight the varied experiences of the illness.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than insisting\u00a0on a specific theory of the illness, the authors provide fresh<br \/>\nperspectives on the sometimes conflicting ways in which the diagnosis\u00a0and symptoms of CFS\/ME are interpreted by doctors, patients and\u00a0others. His clinical interests as a\u00a0physician were in long-term conditions including chronic fatigue\u00a0syndrome\/ME. Most of his publications have been in the fields of\u00a0neurology and rehabilitation.
