Melissa was experiencing stomach\u00a0pain, nausea and diarrhoea and as a result eliminated lactose and gluten\u00a0from her diet, resulting in an improvement in the stomach pain and\u00a0diarrhoea but not the nausea.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa has been referred due to poor\u00a0nutritional intake, reduced appetite and recent weight loss of 4 kg. The\u00a0referral also states Melissa takes a combination of vitamins in large\u00a0doses including magnesium and coenzyme Q10.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa is prescribed a low\u00a0dose of amitriptyline.
