At the recent AGM Jan Russell was elected as chair replacing Tony Thompson. After 13 years of campaigning on behalf of people in Wales it was felt that Jan had become the public face of WAMES and would  lead WAMES to continue their mission of campaigning for effective services and providing information for all about ME.

The secretary’s post is now vacant. Tony Thompson also stepped down from publishing the magazine but will continue to help out with some publicity tasks. Sylvia Penny was re-elected as Youth and care Officer, Liz Chandler as Treasurer and Michelle Penny as Ypung People’s Contact.
