Clwb SLAM Club is a fortnightly spoken word poetry workshop for young people aged 12-19 aiming to create dynamic slam poetry performances to share with other youth slam teams from Wales, the UK and Internationally.

Participants will learn to write for performance, how to emcee and beatbox, plus develop performance skills, improve their self confidence and communication skills and have FUN.

This is a unique opportunity for young people to work along side Martin Daws the current young peoples poet laureate for Wales. The project is free and will run fortnightly:

Saturday 30 May, 1.30 – 4.30pm
Saturday 13 June, 1.30 – 4.30pm
Saturday 27 June, 1.30 – 4.30pm
