7 week meditation course – A way to find greater insight into yourself
Insight Meditation is a way to deepen our own daily meditation practice, improve clarity of mind and concentration leading to a higher state of awareness. In essence we are developing mindfulness and with sustained concentration and full awareness it is possible to see ourselves for who we really are. In many ways we are peeling off the layers to reveal our true selves and finding insight in to how we can transcend our own suffering.
Venue: The Wellbeing Centre (Flintshire Mind), 23b Chester Street, Mold, CH7 1EG
Dates: Mondays 14th & 21st March, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th April, 9th May 2016
Time: 7.00 – 8.30pm Cost: £7 per session
Please note a £20 deposit is needed to reserve your place as numbers are limited. This course is for people who already undertake regular meditation and wish to deepen their practice.
Please bring your own meditation cushion/ stool, blanket or shawl and socks – refreshments provided
A bit about the Facilitator: Anne has extensive teaching experience and has undertaken a wealth of CPD training in meditation, retreats, yoga and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Courses. Anne regularly engages in daily 9 hour insight meditation retreats and is currently studying for a Masters in Mindfulness Based Approaches and delivering MBSR Courses and workshops.
